Canucks d-man Mattias Ohlund will miss the next week for certain, but could very well miss the rest of the regular season.

Apparently he has bone chips in his left knee.

Word is he has a decision to make on arthroscopic surgery, but can't even decide that until the swelling goes down.

It's a big loss for the Canucks. Ohlund plays a ton of minutes and is very reliable, although slow.

I read a story that said that he ingnored the advice of the medical staff and played anyway, after a few days off to let the swelling go down. He scored a goal and got a fair bit of ice time.

He's a warrior, much like OV.

It's a roller-coaster for Ohlund.

The season is now done. He can't play through what I would expect to be excruciating pain, and is taking the surgery route on the knee.

There's no indication on him being back in time for playoffs.
