Think that annoying "Ole, Ole" ballad that rings down from the rafters of the Bell Centre is about the most annoying thing you have ever heard? You could only be so lucky. Proving an alarming percentage of today's youth should be banned from using the computer, some wannabe rapper named Slambody - nice name - decided to take his homeboy talent travesty public with a Montreal Canadiens rap video that, doctor's warning, may cause blood to dribble out of your ears. Hey kid, who sings the real version of that tune? Flo Rida? Let's keep it that way, OK?

The end of the article is right too, the Habs better dust of the golf clubs. Oh and by the way that Ole Ole thing's words should be changed to I'm gay I'm gay, becuase everyone who sings it is.

While I agree that the “Ole, Ole” is very annoying, the Canadian fans showed us they are the class of the NHL. My girlfriend, half-heartedly watching this game accused me of watching soccer because of that chant.
Habs fans sold out and made a hostile playing environment for the Flyers. They were not looking to close out the Flyers but to the contrary stave off elimination. Down three games to one, no one but there fans gave the Canadians much of a chance. By the sound of the crowd they were leading the series three to one.
The class came with less than a minute left in the game just after they had given up an empty net goal. The season ending the fans continued their “Ole” chant. Following the final horn the fans continued to cheer. In a post game interview on Vs. RJ Umberger the reporter had a very hard time hearing or being heard. The sound was as if Montreal had just closed out the Flyers.
I agree that Canadian fans are sometimes too serious and passionate, and make goofy team supporting rap videos that no one can understand. But, can you really fault Habs fans for that (not the rap video part). They displayed passion and supported the team until the end. When all was said and done they recognized that Montreal had a great season and sent them off with cheers even in defeat.
