After reading Marty's post NHL playoff overtime marathons or shootouts? It's a no-brainer...I found this blog written by dionne16 that offers a simliar but slightly different point of view from that of Marty. Check it out below:

While I was watching the epic 4 OT battle between the Stars and the Sharks and ready to punch the first person who mentioned the words "playoff shootout," I started becoming more aware of TSN's Glenn Healy. Specifically, a refrain that he started to repeat sometime around Period 5: The NHL should take note of this game and pay attention to how exciting a 1-1 game can be. Translation: Scoring in the NHL is fine the way it is.
